soon for our big question we are going to Castleton and some people are stayig over for the night but some people are going for a day trip and Miss Davies said we are going to do lots of activities and we were going to climb a bit of Mam Tor and when I went to the Peak District with my mum,dad,brotherand my sister we climbed all of it and it is really fun and you can see for miles and miles

I loved my holiday and the good thing was my friends came from London. Their names were Isabella, Benedict and Louis and their mum and dad. It was Alfie’s birthday on the Sunday and for his treat the girls got to go horse riding and the boys got to go quad biking. We went in lots of lakes and had lots of picnics. There were two pigs at the house called Wilma adn Amelia. It was Sid the dog’s first time going on holiday and he was really good. Every night we watched Britain’s Got Talent. I was glad that Spellbound won. Maybe next year I’ll enter with Sid!!

Here at Chorlton Park School, we have discovered that there is a proposal to build a factory on Chorlton Park! Year 4 have been working very hard this week to create arguments for and against the factory and are debating the proposal this week in class. We will be making a leaflet to distribute around the local area with our reasons why the factory should NOT be built. We hope to persuade the local residents to vote against this proposal as the children feel that the park is a part of their education and enjoy playing sports on it. The children have also thought about the habitats and organisms that would be destroyed if the factory build does go ahead!

4DM, you were fantastic today, all of your hard work and practice paid off! You all learnt your lines too, I think there are some future actors and actresses here!
A BIG thank you to all parents, carers, family and friends who came to watch and support the children and for helping with costumes aswell.
