4DM visited Bramall Hall and were transported back to the year 1599! We enjoyed a day in the life as a Tudor. We wrote our names using goose feather quills and calligraphy, we also made nose gays. At lunch time we sat in the great hall and ate our lunch with William and Dorothy Davenports friends, who were looking after the house while they were out. Atalalanta, Georgia, Joshua and Matthew were chosen to go and sit at the top table and eat with them. The sevamts (teachers) had to pour the drinks the the guests (children). After luch we went for a walk around Bramall Hall and we took some pictures of us looking FAB in our Tudor costumes. In the afternoon we played some Tudor instruments like the spinet and the crum horn. We also had fun learning a Tudor dance! We think Bramall Hall is great fun and we had a great day as Tudors!
