SAVE OUR PARK! SAY NO TO THE FACTORY!!!

Here at Chorlton Park School, we have discovered that there is a proposal to build a factory on Chorlton Park! Year 4 have been working very hard this week to create arguments for and against the factory and are debating the proposal this week in class. We will be making a leaflet to distribute around the local area with our reasons why the factory should NOT be built. We hope to persuade the local residents to vote against this proposal as the children feel that the park is a part of their education and enjoy playing sports on it. The children have also thought about the habitats and organisms that would be destroyed if the factory build does go ahead!
Please help to SAVE OUR PARK!

Chorlton Park has been here for a number of years so it would be a shame to destroy it , it is part of the school name what should we call it Chorlton FACTORY no we don’t think so,we should try our best to help save the park so that is why i am getting in touch with the manchester city council.
