Last week Callum, one of the Manchester City coaches, gave us a talk about how football changes lives across the world. They children had to vote for the country to receive funding for a football project. Thailand and China looked like the popular ones.
The year 3 & 4 teams have been working hard getting the play ready! We have been singing and acting and we are sending your tickets home tomorrow. We can’t wait to share it with our family 🙂
We walked to the River Mersey and looked at features of a river including meanders and flood gates. We also tested the river current by dropping oranges into the river and timing the speed it took them to travel.
We have been exploring solids liquids and gases this week. WE sorted different objects according to their properties and we also made a gas using a solid and a liquid together! We have been thinking about particles, dispersal and molecules!
